Dan was one of my best friends at Villanova University. We were members of the Class of 1957, having arrived in 1953. As English Majors, we shared many interests in literary matters and both wrote for The Lynx, VU's literary magazine. As its poetry editor, Dan published several of my first poems.
Many years passed thereafter but we remained in touch and I accompanied him and his family at the service for his beloved wife's passing. RIP, my friend!
