Chris, I don't know where to start! What a profound loss. I cannot count the times Dan helped me with my boat and troubleshooting problems. I learned much from him, he always made time to help others and he helped me quite a bit. He even came out on Lake Michigan and towed me in from offshore a few times. As you know I was just one of many many people who Dan helped during his summers in Ludington. You go through life and if you are fortunate you encounter a few people like you and Dan. ...

I'll never forget the time I fished with Dan in ludington with his brother Jim.i was able to catch the biggest fish ever in my life,thanks to dan being stern with me. 25 lbs king. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to be your friend. You will be in our hearts forever.
