Danny, there are no words to say how much Tom & I miss you & not being able to talk to you on the phone is heart breaking. Not being able to make you some home-made soup or baked custard anymore. You were like family to us. Like a brother to Tom. I'll miss you putting the gnomes in my gardens & bringing me over the boulders as well & thinking that I wouldn't notice! RIP my friend! You will be missed! Those nightly chats will be missed ! Dan was always there to help anyone and never expected anything in return. he was someone you could talk with and laugh with for hours. He was a true friend. I will never forget you!

I'm very sorry to hear of Dan's passing, we had a lot of fun through our school years.

Our deepest condolences to Dan's family and friends. He was a great friend and will certainly by missed by many. I hope your memories of him are of some comfort to you in the days ahead. When I think of our times together it makes me smile he certainly was a man of few words and said what he meant and meant what he said.

I will wait all the days of my compulsory service until my relief comes. You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands."
