Uncle Dan was my favorite. He was the funniest man on Earth, Spent alot of time with him and my aunt when young, Fell in Love with boy at hayloft party..first ride on a horse and ironing to my hearts content cause my aunt knew I loved to iron clothes. So many great memories with the Bixler family, Love Always

Worked with Dan back in the day at Raub Supply. Was a great guy with a fantastic sense of humor. Could make you laugh no matter how your day was going. Thoughts and prayers for his family.

May God bless you all in this time of sorrow. I was shocked and sorry to hear of Danny's sudden passing. My heart is filled with memories of the myriad horse shows and gatherings at your home when Danny was a trainer of both riders and horses in 3 and 5-gaited disciplines. He and I also were able to hold the honor of dancing the best polka at the Shellsville picnic pavilion. My daughters (Memory and Lari Ann Smith) and I will always hold him in a special place in our hearts.
