Dan is the younger brother of my best childhood friend, Pat. I remember Dan as a little tyke when they moved from Illinois to Brighton. Dan was a great person and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. My heart is heavy for Pat, Bill, Rosemary, Pam and family. You are at peace now Dan, and with your dad. Rest in Peace.

Dan was a great guy. We used to play ball when he lived on Saxon and me on Waltham. I used to see him at Vets park when he played hockey and I worked at Vets Park. He will be missed by all. Gary Brewer

Dan served as a director and officer of Ann Arbor's Economic Development Corporation for many years. He was liked and well-respected by everyone who served with him. He will be missed…

Dan will always be well loved by many people for many reasons. The Ann Arbor Hockey Community is one group that will remember Dan with admiration. I had the pleasure of refereeing many games with Dan. He could always put a smile on my face. My thoughts and prayers are with the Blakemore family.
