Not sure what to say?

My goodness, has it really been five years now? The memories of Dan's kind voice and friendly spirit still remain strong in my mind and heart. He was a dear, kind, and good man, the kind this world could use so many more of. I wish I could talk to him today -- a few minutes with Dan would go a long way toward making me feel better about a world that seems to be coming apart at the seams. Rest in peace, dear friend.

I am truly sorry for your loss. May you gain comfort by praying to God as much as possible. Please accept my condolences.

My sincere condolences to the Bland family for the loss of your loved one. May God strengthen you all during this difficult time and may you find comfort through his son Jesus Christ's words found at John 6:40.

During this time of great sorrow and pain know that you are not alone. May God give your family strength and comfort to help you endure this loss.
As you remember your beloved one, may our Father the God of peace give you comfort and peace in every way today, tomorrow, and always. Please accept my sincere condolences. 2 Thess 3:16. -(fla)

Dan and i spent one lunch a year talking about life in general and Eastern European history in particular. I looked forward to it so much and will miss it a lot. He was a joy to be with. Karl Roider

All of us who were lucky enough to have known Dan, those who came in contact with Dan, and those in Dan's family all are blessed to have known someone who made them better. Grandview will seem lonely without Dan walking by. Dan you are sincerely missed by all of us. God bless your soul.

Dan was such a kind and humble soul in whom there seemed to hide not a trace of guile or ill will. I always enjoyed conversing with him in the hallways of Battelle. My condolences and sympathies go out to his family and many friends. Dan made the world a better place.

My sincere condolences to the family and friends for their loss. May you take some comfort from the words found at James 1:13

May the God of all comfort strengthen the family during this time of deep sorrow. Those who pass on, God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. My sincerest condolences. (Psalms 116:15)
