Not sure what to say?

Still have such fond memories of Daniel. I hope he has met up with Mary. He was such a blessing for her in particular.

I met Daniel in 1995, when he was in London on holiday with Brian; we met quite a few times in the following few years, usually in Silver Spring, Maryland

Daniel was one of the most thoughtful, honest and interesting people I have known; his poetry was to me fascinating and beautiful

I have always had, and will always have, such fond memories of those times together

As the long-time groomer of "Mr. Fancypants" I got to know Daniel as a kind and gentle person- I wish I could have gotten to know him better- To his family, my deepest sympathies- he was a lovely man.

To Jeff amd Daniels family, Im so sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. Just know that Brian and David im sure greeted Daniel at the gates amd there all together having a blast. Although gone way too soon.

I'm saddened to learn of this. I lived on the same street as Dan when we were kids (I still live there now with my own family). When we arrived in 1984, Dan was the first neighborhood kid who talked to me and was friendly. I'll always remember that and be grateful. I drive by his old house every day going to and from my own house, and will think of him fondly -- but hopefully not sadly, as I can't imagine he'd want that -- each time I see it.

Dear Jeff, and all of Daniels family, I am so sorry for your loss. Daniel will be held dearly in my heart. I will miss him.

I want to send my deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to Jeff and all the other members of Daniel's family.

Those of us who live in and are a part of the neighborhood will sorely miss Daniel. He was always so kind, helpful, supportive, and generous with his time and talents.

I hope the memory of all the wonderful acts of kindness Daniel showed to everyone he met will help fill the empty spot his passing left in our hearts.

I am sure Daniel did not have to obey...
