Daniel T. Blomquist

Dan was truly one of the nice guys in the real estate business...I had the pleasure of working with him at First Bank in the 80's...I was so pleased to be able to work with him again on the two Welsh projects here in Kansas City...my sincere sympathy to Karin (my fellow Washburn High graduate), Britta, and Laura...Dan will be greatly missed by all

Karin, Britta and Laura, You all have been in my prayers daily since I learned from my sister, Twyla, that Dan was taken Home so suddenly. There are no words to express my sympathy, but I am trusting that you will feel God's comfort in new ways every day. My prayers for you today have been based on Ephesians 3:16 (NIV) "I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being."

My first full-time job out of high school was working for Dan at Convesco Inc., with Duane G. and Bob P... I was just a kid, but Dan always made me feel like an important part of the team, he never talked down to me, was always down-to-earth. I felt appreciated there. I admired how much he loved his wife Karin and how proud he was of his beautiful blonde girls. What a shock, to see his obituary come across my desk 18 years later.

My sincere sympathy. Dan was a true gentleman and a pleasure to work with.

To say Dan was a good man is a huge understatement. Every life Dan touched is blessed to have known him simply because of who he was. Dan now walks with God and is His new assistant. Dan will continue to care from heaven, that is just Dan. Dan shall forever remain in all of our hearts. We are so sorry this happened, our prayers are with you.
