Not sure what to say?

This great Man was a neighbor to me when I was a kid. His Son was in my class and was a fellow cub scout. No matter how busy he was, Mr. Dan always had time for me. I remember one morning I was staying at his house, and had the honor of eating breakfast with him. I have never forgotten the advice he gave me, when I expressed an interest in politics.

Its been several years now since he left us, but his memory will remain with me always.

I know I am months late, however, I owe so much to Dan. Thanks tohis believing I could do it, I had some of the best times of my life working for hiim during his last city council, and ifrst state campaigns. His political smarts were supported by his beliefs in doing the right thing for others and his life was well lived. Thank you Dan....Sue Portwood

I really liked this man. I am so sorry to see him go.

I was so fortunate to know him and work for his team in the Senate. He treated me like a son. I will miss him. To Barry and Tim, thanks for giving me the opportunity to know Dan. Teresa, I am feeling for you right now. My wife Patti is also fighting cancer and this is why I could not be there on Saturday...Dan would have told me to be with my wife. I will miss him so much.

I remember him from the First Presbyterian Church in Concord 1967-71. I was in the high school youth group and he and his first wife had our group over to their house a few times. He also came to Mission Springs youth retreat to talk to us. He was a very nice and smart man and he did a lot of good. Pat Jenkins Weisel, formerly of Concord, CA

To my Boatwright cousins, I am so very sorry for your loss. Your loss is shared by hundreds of thousands of grateful residents of California for Danny's many accomplishments and contributions resulting in improved transportation, education, health care, wine industry support, and so much more. Danny had such an amazing influence on everyone he met. My father, the staunch Republican that he was, worked on and supported his campaigns, encouraging others to vote for him over and over again. I...

We are so sorry about Uncle Dan - We will miss his vivacious personality and wisdom - Nicole, Ryan & Debi Williams

My condolences to his family. Daniel Boatwright positively affected the lives of all of us in Contra Costa County. God bless him!

Teresa,
I'm so sorry for your loss. Please take comfort knowing your husband Dan is finally home with our Father God in Heaven.
I didn't know him personally but from what I've read, it seems as though he has accomplished his purpose in life and has made such great impact with many lives.
May God bless you and your family.
