DANIEL B. BOSSARD

I knew Dan as outstanding nature photographer and an accomplished ultra runner. He was inspiring as he captured the beauty of the world, and through his devotion to distance running. Dan and I were both in a 24 hour track run nearly 40 years ago. My first such event was challenging, grueling. Every time Dan was near me he offered words of encouragement. Thank you Dan, for those words and your photographs. I will miss you.

It was always great to see Dan when I came to the FT Wayne office. He always greeted me with a smile and warm hello. He was the plainest, most decent man you could ever hope to meet.
