Read MoreI did not get to know Terry very well, having only been out in the community for the last 12 years; Terry was still publishing early in those years, and I only knew him from seeing him around. I do know he has made a huge contribution to documenting LGBT life in Milwaukee and Wisconsin; his displays of our history at Pridefest have been an inspiration to many over the years.

Terry was a good friend and a great history prof at La Roche College. I will especially remember him for the founding of our Student United Nations Association which won many awards during his tenure at the College.

Dr. Boughner was more than a teacher of history. He taught life! He was a teacher that I'll never forget! I always loved the study of history but more so after my courses with Dr. Boughner. By far one of LaRoche's best teachers. I feel blessed having had him as an instructor!
