I met Daniel once or twice. I heard about him often. I remember him dancing with a mutual friend of ours. He was full of life and grace. Even though I met briefly, he made our friend's life very happy. I'm sorry that so many are left with such a large void.

Daniel was a teacher of mine at nafa, he was so much fun, spirited and lively, and he always made the dirty and grungy artists feel as welcome as the tea and china uptown wives he taught too, he will be missed, a true loss to our community.
