Danny was a special friend and great person,I Played football withy Danny and graduated same year 1958

As a new pilot with Delta in 1979, I was privileged to fly often with Dan. He always had some interesting and unique project going on from searching for pecan harvesters to restoring his antebellum home in LaGrange, GA.
He knew every pub in the Delta system and introduced me to my first warm beer(traditional) at one in Santa Monica, CA.
I enjoyed many St. Patrick's Day and Derby Day celebrations with Dan and downed my first "yard" with him.
So many great memories of this...

Cheers to a great friend and patriot! I will raise a glass in honor of you on May 2nd.

Dan was loved by many. He had a smile and kind word each time you saw him. Our family , especially my mother loved and adored him. He hand made a beautiful dining room table for her to hold her big family. He was gifted with the talent of creating beautiful pieces of furniture, especially a rocking horse he made for my niece, his daughter Devon. He leaves a Big hole in our hearts. RIP Dan knowing you are loved.
