Not sure what to say?

Never forgotten! Me and ol Dave Simmons remembering our shared adventures with Dan just yesterday! Fond howdy to you Danny....

Well I was feeling nostalgic this holiday season and Dan came to mind. I studied under him at ASU 30+ years ago and am stunned that I´m just learning of his passing. My thoughts go out to his family and friends. Though I did not stay in the art field for long Dan, John Risseeuw and Kathryn Maxwell had a profound influence on my coming of age. I loved his crass no BS attitude and lived him ripping me to shreds when it was completely called for! Something I´m certain wouldn´t fly today but...

Dan, Judy...you're never forgotten dear friends.

Dan, my unforgettable friend! Such fine memories with you since high school.... your passing affected me deeply, and I still feel your spirit with me everyday. Thanks Buddy! ,,,Ol Wally

We will miss Dan. He was a great artist, a good friend, a seriously funny guy, and a wonderful husband to Judy. We enjoy his art every day, and the memories of his unique gifts.

We would like to say to the family of Dan that words can hardly fill the depth of your loss. May God Bless.

I have fond memories of knowing Dan in the 70's after he returned from Vietnam and during college years. He was gifted in music, story-telling and fine art - and shared his talents generously (to the delight of many!). To Virginia, Linda and all of the Brittons, my heartfelt sympathies.

Dan was my husband's friend from junior high school, high school and beyond. He became my friend and oh what a friend he was! Such fun stories of the Corvair turned into a 4 wheel drive vehicle under the influence of a beer or two - not those two guys! - to our shared memories of loved books and authors! I'll never forget Dan's take on The movie Mars Attacks . Let's just say he didn't like it! Dan, you will be missed.

I've often had wonderful memories of our times together in university and beyond. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
