Not sure what to say?

When you are down, your Dad would say to keep your chin up.

Your Dad was a big proponent of gratitude. An example would be of the food boxes he sent to customers as gifts. He was outraged whenever anyone neglected to express gratitude in a timely manner. Thank you to him for that valuable lesson.

Even though your Dad was noncommunicative, he proved his love by being the ultimate provider. He was especially proud of son, Terry, and his exploits in the boxing ring at ND. He was also proud of his Irish heritage, dating back to the Collins / Broder families in Kerry. Loved Cahill's, "How the Irish Saved Civilization."

To the Broderick Family,
Your father was a hero in the true sense of the word. Without telling a living soul, he saved my family from a life of poverty and utter destitution. Every kid (5) in my family graduated from college because of your Dad. He paid our bills and kept a roof over our heads. I know he was a big Leahy fan (bow tie) and devoted son of ND. Make him and your brother proud by living each day to the fullest. Carpe diem and go ND! From a grateful...

To the Brodrick Family: our deepest sympathy and prayers to the family. We know your father is at rest. May he rest in the peace of the Lord.

Dear Patty, Caroline and the Broderick Family:
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. It is never easy to say goodbye to a loved one. I am here for you, if there is anything you need.

Sincerest sympathies,

To the Broderick Family: Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I know our parents are all together in a far better place. We have fond memories of your dad and mother during growing up and later in life during our visits to Marco Island. He was a great man and a devoted father. Our deepest sympathy to all of you.
