We just heard about Dan's passing, and our sympathy and condolences go out to you all. We have fond memories of him (and you), both at Gloria Dei and at Frontier Squares Square Dance Club. Dan taught me my first round dance, long before Ron was ever willing to even Consider taking round dance lessons!! In a square, he was my favorite "corner"....

Grandpa Dan was an amazing man. He always let me tinker in his garage with him or play in the garden (looking for spiders). I will miss him dearly, but I KNOW he now has a clear mind and is pain free.

Dear Rose I know for sure it was you and Dan that used to belong to the Frontier squares years ago. Well my grandfather was the caller and I have many fond memories of you both when I was a little girl. I was sure sad to have lost touch with my square dancing family over the years. I am sure sorry about your loss. I just hope they are having one big square dance up there. Thank you for some great memories

So sorry to hear about Dan passing away. Right away when we told Richard and Robert, they knew who we meant. They were telling their wives about the time you came through Butte and stopped and picked them up and took them to Maxine and Norman's. Your family has been very special to our family.
