Dan twice drove from Chicago to Maryland to build decks for the Derouins and Fluhartys. In fact the latter was also enclosed with a ceiling fan added. He was a true craftsman. I introduced him to ice fishing and filleting the bluegills we caught on Fox Lake. They were small but numerous and made for excellent eating when pan fried by mother Rose. The family can be proud of the love and care they showed Dan during his long ordeal. May we all be so lucky. RIP Dan
