BURNHAM, Daniel F. Sr. - Of Flint, age 68, died Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Genesys Hospice Care Center in Goodrich. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Father Gary L. McInnis officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. Contributions may be made to Genesys Hospice of Goodrich. Visitation 12-8 p.m. Monday and 1 p.m. Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Daniel was born in Flint on August 2, 1943, the son of the late Floyd and Phyllis (Chase) Burnham and was a resident of Flint and Swartz Creek, Michigan. He married Eva Mae Leonard at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on February 2, 1963. He retired as a semi-driver from Flint Packaging. Surviving are wife of 49 years, Eva Mae (Leonard); children, Daniel Burnham Jr. and wife, Amy Hollis-Burnham, Shelli (Burnham) and husband, David Wildfong and Kimberly Burnham; grandchildren, Miranda and Jodi Burnham, Camaron and Sierra Hollis and Colin and Sophia Wildfong; sisters, Sandra (Burnham) Vincent and Susan (Burnham) Onstott; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by granddaughter, Angela Beckman, brothers-in-law, Gene Onstott and Mert Vincent. Your condolences may be shared with the family at swartzfuneralhomeinc.com
