In 1961 at Colonial Arms apartments, Swarthmore, Olav and I were your neighbors. Dan and you were our first friends. We had a lot in common as newlyweds and new parents; you and Dan were kind and gracious. It is difficult to realize that so many years have passed. Dot and I were shocked and saddened at the news of Dan’s passing.

He was such a pleasant person to be around, with a cheerful demeanor and always positive and encouraging.
