Dear Michelle, Maggie and Jessica:

I am so sorry for the loss of Dan. He was a tremendous man, teacher, and friend. Dan and I talked at length about the things he endured as he progressed to becoming a teacher. He spoke often and strongly about how he would never have had the opportunity to teach were it not for your love and support. Dan and I really connected from the first interview, proving my instincts correct in hiring him displaying enthusiasm, caring, and dedication...

Dear Michelle, Girls and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Dan was truly an inspiration to all who knew him. He was one of the first people I met when I came to Lifeskills. He made me feel comfortable and welcome to his class. He was always there when I needed him. There was nothing I could ask of him that he would not try to do. He never made me wait, or feel that I was a bother to him. We are all wondering how we are going to get by without him; just as I know that you and your...

Dear Michelle, Maggie, and Jessie,
I worked with Dan every evening since he switched to evening administrator. How could I ever forget the day he got the promotion! He walked around the building jiggling his keys for weeks. He was so proud of his achievements, including all of his awards and college grades he kept in the black binder that I saw at least once a week (page by page, grade by grade). Dan was also very supportive of my student teaching(in 1st grade)and helped me color, cut,...

Michele and family,
I am very sorry about Mr. Calloway's passing. I am very hurt but I know he does not want me to mourn him. He was my guiding light when it came to work. He has inspired me to be a better person and he always pushed me to be the best. I remember him as an angel and a hero. I can honestly say that he saved me. Because of him I will graduate in June and I will keep that promise to him. I loved him very much as a teacher, friend and an inspiration. I am still in denial,...

I hope and pray for your family in this time. I know what it is like to lose someone close to you just keep your head up. May God bless your family!
God Bless

Michelle and girls,
All my thoughts and prayers go out to you. Dan always amazed all of us with the stories of his life. His adventures always brought a smile to all that heard them. Most of all he talked about the love he had for his family. If he wasn't talking about you and the girls he was talking about his little brother. We are all devastated but we know that Dan will live on through all the wonderful memories we have.

Mr. Calloway was the coolest teacher I have ever had. He helped me through so many things in school, and he was great to talk to and joke around with. When I didn't feel like being here he joked around and helped me have a good time. I'm really going to miss having him around and I hope he's watching over all of us.
