I am so sorry to hear the sad news about Dan. He will be dearly missed. May all the wonderful memories he left behind comfort those he loved. And most of all, may the Peace of God, thru prayer guard your hearts and your thoughts to help you all cope without him. Rely on the power beyond what is normal to get you thru each day. Phil 4:13

I remember shopping at Dan's with my Daddy when I was just a kid and kind attention we always received. My sincere sympathy for your loss. Jan Rainwater Eilers, Houston, TX

I was so sorry to hear of Dan's passing. I knew Dan back in the days at Oklahoma State University. He was a true friend and the greatest person you could know. He will be missed by a number of people. I send my condolences to his family.

Dear Calnan family:
We are saddened to learn of Dan's death. I remember Dan's father and brother in their little store. Their friendship and guidance was always appreciated. The entire family should be very proud of heritage and reputation you built over the years in B'ville. I hope you will celebrate Dan's life remembering his laugh, and telling stories of fun times past.We send our sincere love and prayers to all

Dearest Melinda, Mary Lou, Dan & Kelly: I was saddened to hear of Dan's death and I know how much you will miss him. He's one of the good guys! Your family is the all-time favorite neighbor of the Kane's. I will keep all of you in my prayers!

I was sorry to hear about Dan but I know Our Lord has a special place for him in Heaven. May he rest in peace. I will remember you all in my prayers.

We are all so sorry for your family, Dan was a great neighbor and he will be sorely missed. He always had a kind word for me and my children Ryan and Megan.

Darlin' Heart was my second dad. His advice to ML and me when we went off to OSU was "don't take any wooden nickels". Didn't have a clue what he meant, but we learned soon enough. Thank you Mary Lu for sharing Darlin' Heart with me on Dad's day. Thinking of all of you and the wonderful memories we had thru high school and college. Hugs to all!
