Not sure what to say?

Thanks for being such a loving and caring dad & grandps!! You will be missed by many! I will always love you and remember you!!

Dear Shaun, Cari and your families,
I know I can't take the pain away - but we have the memories. My first memory of your dad was when he was running the crane on the construction of the ZCMI center. From there I spent time with your mom and dad, cherished friends, in the mountains in the jeep or on the slopes of snowbird - treasured memories. Your dad was always smiling and happy - good times. Cherish the memories. My deepest love and sympathy,

To Lynn and Shaun and Danny, if he's listening - a ski season, a winter at Snowbird without Danny is unimaginable! in the locker, on the hill, dinners with the group at home and elsewhere. So many years, so many runs, so many times together. It can't possibly be the same without his happy, warm presence - and the flawless technique in every condition and every slope. That was simply a metaphor for his company and his personal influence. With great sympathy and fondest regards, Sam and...

So socked and sad to hear this news, and so sorry we didn't hear in time to make it up to the gathering at Snowbird. Our deepest sympathies and condolences to Lynne, Shaun and all of Danny's family and loved ones. We first met Danny 20some years ago at Snowbird and he always had a smile and great advice on where to find the good conditions! We will miss seeing him in the locker room at Snowbird, and will always remember all his great advice and his kind smile.

You will be missed on the tram and in "Hootie Owl" ski run. Thanks Danny for all the smiles and miles of powder turns. I think of you every time the wind chimes you made me from avalanche artillery shells sound.

Danny's family:

I don't remember when I met Danny but It must have been at the Bird 20+ years ago. I never saw him without a smile and no matter how heinous the conditions were on a bad day, Danny always said "It was pretty good over where we were...".Ever the optimist; that's what I will remember. Danny lives on in our wonderful memories and there won't be a day in the locker room from now on I will not think of him. Love you Lynne!

Dad,
Thank you for all your love and patience and teaching me how to be a man and a father. I hope I can be 1/2 the father to Henry that you were to me.I miss you so much and this hurts so bad but im glad we got to spend all the time together that we did. That is so special too me. save some of those pow turns for your boy and know that I love you and im on the tram right behind you.

If there is a “Rock and Roll Band in Heaven” there must surely be a “Skiers Hall of Fame” with the perfect endless pitch- with the perfect snow- on the perfect bluebird day- and now the perfect skier.

Our deepest sympathy and condolences go out to Danny's extended Family. Our prayers and thoughts will be with you during your difficult time. Cari and Shaun, please know that Danny was loved and will remain in our thoughts for a long time. Loving memories, Jim and Pat Klein
