On Wednesday, August 17, 2022, Daniel Canterbury, loving husband and son passed away at the age of 46. Dan was born on September 17, 1975, in Melrose, Massachusetts to Michael and Ellen Canterbury. He grew up in Reading, Massachusetts and was a lifelong Boston sports fan. After receiving his bachelor’s degree from Westfield State University, he embarked on an IT service career for over twenty years. In December of 2007, Dan married the love of his life, Kristin Manning. Together they shared a life full of love, laughter, music and caring for their beloved pets Ika, Tekka and Ralphie.
Dan is survived by his wife Kristin Canterbury of Manchester, NH, his parents Michael and Ellen Canterbury of Reading, MA, his brother Steven Canterbury and his wife Erin, nephews James and William all of Hudson, MA. His brother Christopher Canterbury and his wife Patricia of Newmarket, NH and niece Emily Corey of Dover, NH. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 26 at the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) Reading from 1-4pm. A Memorial Service will be held at 3pm. Burial is private.
