Not sure what to say?

I love you Dan! He would do anything to help someone in need! He was so smart and great to be with him! I remember he always pulled me behind his motor boat on Barnes Lake on a knee board. We had so much fun together! I will always miss him! Thank you Dan for all the great times. God Bless you in heaven! Roger Mullins

I am so sorry to hear so late about Dan's passing he was such a good friend in my past and was so honored to be in his wedding party. Over the years we lost each other in communication as I was involved in my Medical Sales career and Dan was completed his Engineering Degree at MSU later in his life. I will always remember you towing me on a knee board behind your boat many, many weekends with Kathy Vandelaare! How much fun we had. I love you Dan!

I´m saddened to hear this. I worked with Dan back in the 90s at Ford motor company. I always revered him as one of the most intelligent people I knew! He taught me many things and shared his infinite knowledge freely with so many others in the engineering field at Ford motor company. I undoubtedly know that many others feel this exact same way with regard to his kindness, and willingness to share knowledge with anyone willing to take it. My condolences to the family. Scott Bain

Dan played such a joyful role in our growing up on Barnes Lake. A great man

Liz, I can only imagine how hard this is. My heart goes out to you and your family. Hold onto the promises of our Lord, hold onto love for it knows no boundaries. My sincere condolences.

Pete and I will truly miss Dan. As his next door neighbor, we joked with Dan about all his home projects (and barbeque grills) and enjoyed sharing stories with Dan, Ford vs. GM. Dan was a great neighbor. Our blessings go out to Liz and all the family. Jen and Pete

Working with Dan was incredible. After taking to him for just a moment, you knew he possessed an extreme amount of knowledge and passion. I will miss his “let’s get it done” approach and the phone calls that would start out with “Hey Roger, you gotta minute?” - and 45 minutes later you found yourself solving EVERYTHING plus the one thing he called about originally. He had an equally strong passion for his family and Big10 football. The pride he had in his children was evident in every story...

I worked for Ford for 34 years and got to know Dan the last 10 or so years. He was an intelligent and talented engineer. It would crack me up that he would leave a meeting and close the door to talk to someone privately in the hallway. His voice was so powerful it went right thru the closed door. You could never say you didn't hear him. My prayers are with him and his family.
