Read MoreI learned today of Dan's passing from Joe Farwell. I was the Explorer Advisor of Post 18 at St. Giles where Dan was a member. I remember his love of life and his active participation in trips to the Boundary Waters in Minnesota. His death came far too early. My prayers and condolences go out to the Cassin family.

I just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear about Dan's sudden passing. I went to Giles with Dan. Although I haven't seen him since high school, I have always thought highly of Dan and thought he was a very nice and caring person.
