Not sure what to say?

I went to school with Doug and after many years had passed saw him again upon my returning to Talladega. Of course we both had aged and we laughed at how much we had aged!! There will always be a special place in my heart for Doug. I know we are all born to die, however it is hard to lose a friend such as Doug Chandler. His laughter will remain with all that knew him and to know him was to love him. May God bring comfort to all of us that are left behind. I really don't think he knew what...

i will miss you Uncle Doug .............i love you tons ....RIP.

One awesome man. I had a lot of respect for Doug. Deepest condolences to Cassie Lynn. We love you K.K.

Uncle Doug brought so many smiles to everyone he knew and loved. He loved his family and let people know it too. You never knew what joke, or comment he would make. He loved his kids. He loved his great niece Kristin and let it be known. He took Cassie and Kristin to the beach when they were probably 15 and 13, during spring break I might add and those girls had the time of their lives. He loved hugs. Uncle Doug, sorry for all you endured. You will always have a special place in my heart. I...

Doug was a great man. He was so sweet and would do anything he could to help anyone who needed it. He will be truly missed.

Doug was one of the truest friends a person could ever have. He was a kind and gracious man that was always there to lend a helping hand and never asked for anything in return. He will be forever missed and never forgotten. We love you Doug. Rest in peace.

Praying for peace, comfort and understanding for all of Doug's family as you go through this difficult time. Please know that y'all are in our prayers. Much love

I will be praying for you Mrs. Chandler and Hannah. I hope that you both can find peace in this time of despair.

Doug was a friend of my husband William "slickhead" Mitchell. They laid a lot of brick and block together thru the years.I always loved his smile. Will miss him.
