I just found out about this loss. I worked with Dan at Atmel and we had alot of great times away from work. I loved him like family and I will always have Dan in my heart. He was the best friend a human could have. I hope that his family which I never got a chance to meet knows that they are in my prayers. I just wish I could say "hi" one more time. I love you bro!

Dear Joel, Lorna and Kenji,
I just learned of your loss today. Words cannot express the sorrow I feel. My most vivid memory of Daniel is of when he was a baby and Joel and Lorna brought him to DU. He was so sweet and loving. I pray that God will comfort all of you and wrap you in His everlasting love.
Deepest sympathy, Charlene

Dan was a true, loyal friend, and I will never forget him. I went to the school of Mines with Dan and we had many classes together. His intelligence, sense of humor, and sincerity were second to none. He always put others first. I remember when he and I went fishing a couple times at Crystal Lake. We had so much fun. I remember he could always make me laugh when school had me stressed out. God bless his family and his loved ones. I know his spirit will be with us always.

Dedication. I remember all the late nights that Dan and I spent working on our homework in college. He could not move on to the other problems until he had the first one completely figured out. And he always figured it out, even if he had to leave the other problems incomplete. He had that same passion and drive in providing benefit to all his loved ones. He devoted his life unselfishly, unconditionally to complete what he needed to do for that one person at the time. That is love. I will...
