Danny and I went to high school together. We weren't the closest, but he was always nice to me and I had the highest levels of respect for him. An amazingly nice guy. Would see him at local concerts and we had a common bond over music. One of his cousins is a teacher in the building I teach in and when he told me this morning I was absolutely stunned. My prayers to the Cherette family. Danny is an amazing man. He will surely be missed.

Denny, I am so sorry you lost your beautiful boy. He looks like such a delightful young man. You probs my don’t remember me but I lived down the street from you when we were kids. Lyndia is a longtime friend. My heart aches for you and your family.

Danny went on many camping and skiing adventures with Kathi, Grant, my sons and I. I always affectionately called him “Camper Dan, and he called me “Camper Sue””. He was a wonderful young man
