Daniel R. Coburn

I met Judge Coburn when he was a public defender when I was 16 and he was defending my then boyfriend. He told me to run! He remained a friend and mentor later in my life. He was a great storyteller and support.

I remember Dan from our lobby chats in The Carlton. We used to sit and talk about the subject of Art, a shared interest, and alot about his background and family. He always had great stories to tell, a NJ history.
He always talked about Rachel and loved bragging on Noah!
Our terraces were both in the building's back, and we would wave to each other, when sitting out. I was always under an umbrella and "Tan" Dan was always sunning himself, especially his, all year round no sock...

Daniel was my first cousin. His mother, Helen Coburn, was my mother's sister and my godmother. I had not seen Daniel for many years but, for a time, was in touch with his daughter Rachel. Sincere condolences to the Coburn and Russomanno families.
