All the Colemans:

I just received word of Dr. Coleman's passing and while difficult news, I found myself smiling as I recalled my small snippets of time with him and the impact those times have on me to this day. I think of the patience with the boys from Capitol Hill and his consistent care for the rhodies and his absolute love for his family. Like Brian Sweeney, I was always a bit taken back with Dr. Coleman's genuine interest in what we were doing and how sports/school were...

To all of you, my most heartfelt condolences on Dr. Coleman's death. My memories of him are nothing but good, His legacy is both lasting and great. My love and prayers go with you all.
Sincerely,
Claire Youmans

Dear Sally Sue, Katie, Molly, Maude, Suzie, and Danny, I'm sorry I was unable to make it up for the funeral but was there in spirt. Your home and each of you remain with me thru wonderful memories of time spent on the lake, cookouts, parties, sleepovers, and just visiting. Dr. Dan will always remains in my thoughts.

Dear Sally Sue, Katie, Molly, Maud, Sally and Dan
Please accept my heartfelt condolences to all of you. As I sit her I can't help remembering how kind Dan was to me when I first arrived back here in Seattle. He taught me a great deal on how to be an oncologist. I am forever grateful I was able to care for others with him. He was a special and wonderful man and I am proud to have known him.

To the family of a wonderful man—Dr. Coleman and his team diagnosed me with leukemia as a 15 year old in 1974. Thanks to his diligence and expertise I am still here today. He once told me, "Don't read about your illness, because I don't believe what that book says." Of course, I read it anyway—because of him I didn't believe it. I named my son after him and told him so. I loved him.
I'm sorry for your loss and will remember him forever. Thank you for letting me be part of his life.

Dear Sally Sue, Molly,Sue, Katie, Maud and Dan,
My heartfelt condolences to all of you today as you lay your wonderful husband, father, and grandfather to rest. The MacDonalds have so many wonderful memories of great times with the Colemans both in Seattle and Montana. Best wishes and you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Fondly, Dale

Sally Sue & Family,
I was very saddened to learn of Dan's passing. I have such great memories of him at Wildhorse teaching me how to cook the perfect salmon (a recipe I still use today),walking through the yard teaching me about rhododendrons or the great party you and the Doctor threw Robin and I when we got engaged.

Dan was a kind man, great husband...father...teacher and mentor to all who knew him. I'm sure he's sitting with dad on a deck somewhere, having a mint julip and...

Such a legacy your father left in this world. Prayers for him and your family.

Dear Katy, Mrs. Coleman, and Family. Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the passing of Doc Coleman. I am truly impressed by the long years of service to the community in both his professional and private life. Even more than that, he was a great guy. I have many fond memories of beautiful summer days at the Lake, and all of them contain a visualization of Doc Coleman with a big smile on his face: always friendly, always welcoming, always asking what interested me, and how was I doing....
