Not sure what to say?

I'm only just learning about Daniel's passing through this posted obituary, and am beyond crushed to learn this terrible news. I met Daniel in the late 1990s as we were both attending Pulaski Tech - he was working for Dillard's at the time. He and I became fast friends, and remained in contact, getting together periodically when time allowed, until late 2000, at which point we somehow fell out of touch. I still remember the very last night we were together. It was Christmas Eve of 2000, and I...

I met Daniel as a teenager probably around 16. I only hung out with him a few times with several of my friends but boy were these times wild, fun, memerable, and there was just something special about those times. That's that special something that at 40 years old and after decades I remember him. I hope he found what he needed and that we'll see each other again.

Daniel. What can I say? You have been on my mind much here lately. Mostly after I thought of you while with Seth and asked if he remembers you much. He responded by saying, "only slightly." I wish he could remember his cousin more. I wish he knew how kind and funny you were. I am glad I was old enough for you to have had a lasting impact on me for the rest of my life. You taught me more than you realized, in both your life and death. Love you big cuz.

Daniel was one of my best friends in high school. I still tell stories about him. One of my favorites was when he and I had just got into one of our infamous fist fights (almost unheard of at abundant life unless it was Daniel or I). Anyway, we were sitting in front of Coach Eudy and he asked us what we thought our punishment should be. Before I had a chance to speak Daniel said "I need 50 paddlings". My jaw dropped to my lap b/c I knew anything that he got I was going to get also. ...

Daniel I just wanted to say that I was so upset when I heard of your passing. I know you are back helping Grandmother like you did before her passing. She was so lucky to have you as a friend and so am I.

Daniel and I went to school together at ALS, and he was one of those people that you meet in life that you just will not ever for get. He had the most personality and heart of anyone i know. It is an honor to say that i was friends with Daniel.
We have been and will continue to pray for you.

I went to school with Daniel at ALS. I also attended church with him as well. I am sorry to hear of his passing. Your family will be in my prayers.

I attended school with Daniel at ALS. For his family, please know that I will be praying for you during this time of loss.

I knew Daniel from our school days at Abundant Life. I have not seen him in the years since, but wanted to let his family know how special he was to me and my family. Daniel always did something to make you laugh. I will never forget that about him. To his family, please know that he will be missed by all. I am deeply sorry for your loss and will pray for your peace and comfort during this time. May God bless you and keep you.
