Not sure what to say?

I knew Danny from the time we were in grammar school. We went to high school together and joined NYPD after military service . Dan was the kind of friend who you knew you could count on. He was a kind good natured guy who I loved and still can´t believe he´s gone

Danny was a special person, friend, husband and coach, his wife Patty nee McGraph was also special , a Hallmark Card writer. We used to get together on Sunday's to watch football in Long beach and a few of us from Rosedale would meet at the Dig's and see Danny there. He was a GREAT Guy period, one of the best from Rosedale ever. R.I.P. Danny BOY !!

Danny,
Pat Hyland, Frank McDermott, Tom and Ed McCloskey played a round of golf yesterday and talked about you and remembered the great times. We also talked about all the people who signed this book. For those of you who did sign, please email me so I can be in touch with you for a DanConnolly/Rosedale reunion this summer in Long Beach. Especially Barry, contact me. Pat Hyland

Legend, a term used too losely these days but repeatedly used to describe Danny and deservingly so.
We have had the pleasure of knowing a wonderful person.

One of the best growing up in Rosedale. A real sweet caring man and was always there for you. He will be missed by many and my deepest condolences to his family.

Patrick Hyland would like to tell you about a great guy:
"Dan Connolly, a Rosedale legend and longtime Long Beach resident, left us on Jan. 3. So much can be written about Danny, but there's not enough space. He was a larger-than-life character who transcended your 'typical' friend, relative or neighbor, and we were stunned by Danny's passing, but also hurt and dismayed that he left us way too soon.

"My sadness is shared with...

Danny was the best, He will be missed terribly.

While growing up in Rosedale, Danny was always there to help you. He was a true "Giver". I will never forget Danny. My sympathy and prayers to his family.

Very sad day for all of us who grew up with Danny. He was a truly great friend loved by everyone. He will always be fondly remembered.
