Not sure what to say?

Karen, Rick & family - I can't begin to imagine the pain you are going through. Just cherish the wonderful memories you have of Dan and know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Pat, Joannie and family,

Words can not express the sadness we all feel for your (and our) loss. I want to express what fond and happy memories I have about Danny and your family and thank you for them.

As I listened to Dan's son and his friend, tears came to my eyes and heart. Memories came to me of happy times we shared as family. I was thinking of when you were at our house in Bloomington and all the kids were running from and into the sprinkler; my...

Hello Everyone. My name is Travis Bookler and Danny was my uncle, and he still is. The thing about death is, its temporary. We get sad because the person is gone and we dont see them. There is no reason why we cant still talk to them or feel them. Thats what makes me feel good about Dan going away. He is not here for us to see, but he is up there alright. God needed him and Dan would all want us to know that. God had to invent death, or else things would get pretty crowded down here. He is...

Dear Dan,

I really don't know what to say, except that you are an amazeing person who has not only raised three great kids but has touched so many people in different ways with your personality. I am so fortunate to have gotten to know you better. I know that you have a wonderful home in heaven. I love you. I'll miss ya lots.

Karen and Ricky,
I am sorry to hear of your loss.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
With Deepest Sympathy,
Shelley

Boy this is tough. I will always remember Dan as the jokster, always ready with an easy laugh and a sparkle in his eye. Dan, Grand Marias, just for the heck of it, insane! My best to all the family and friends, and thanks to the man upstairs for the gift of your laugh.

Dear Rick, Karen, Dee Dee and all:
I was horrified when I opened the paper this morning to your brother's obituary. My heart goes out to you all. May all your wonderful memories comfort you - and know you have an angel watching you always. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Joanne and Pat,
I am so sorry to hear about your son, Dan. My prayers are with you. Also Arlene (Hackman) Schaffer sends her deepest sympathy. We spoke the other day about you and your family and feel so bad. God be with you.

Angie and Arlene

Dan~
You have been a wonderful uncle to me. I know we were parted for a while but thank goodness we reunited. I know you are in a better place. Grandma's house will always remind me of you and the few but great time we have shared there. Every time I go into your room or the basement I brake into tears thinking of you. You mean so much to me and I love you very much. You are deeply missed! I will never in a million bajillion years will ever forget you. Not a minute has gone by yet that...
