To Amy & family- Ingrid & I send our deepest condolesences to you all. Croton will never be the same. Someday we will see you again, probably running sprints on heaven's field. We miss you!

We are so sorry to hear the news about Dan. We are also sorry that we were away this past weekend while Dan was being waked. Dan was certainly a character with a very kind soul. He was a huge lover of people and the most outgoing person we ever met. We will miss him! God bless him and all his family. Lots of Love, Vin and Una

I met Dan in College- SUNY Plattsburgh- we were on the same floor. Excellent guy, fun loving, and a very caring individual. Sorry to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. May God comfort and pour out His love and peace upon you.

I first met Dan in 1984. Lloyd K from Croton, a co-worker and one of my roommates at the home we were renting in Hermosa Beach, CA, invited him out to stay with us during the 84 LA Olympics. I got the full Cotter experience, including DJ duty for a party there, massages and a haircut in a real barber chair Lloyd had acquired and installed in the living room. In a short time, I realized Cotts was indeed a unique phenomenon. Dan, you will be missed R.I.P.

I'm so grateful I took time out to visit you all in april. Thank you Dan for allowing me to help take care of you my friend and best man.
Our love goes to the Cotts and in spirit we'll be there with you.
