I still have the snow globe Daniel gave me for Christmas in 7th grade. This earth is a much sadder place with him gone. My thoughts and prayers are with the Covington family. R.I.P.

Words can't describe the impact Daniel had on my life. He not only gave me someone to look up to but he gave me faith. Being a walk on at the University of Louisville is tough and I never felt like I would play sometimes. But then I remembered the story of Daniel and how he earned a scholarship. That gave me hope and faith that one day I will earn one.
