Not sure what to say?

What a wonderful "character" he was. I was a transcriptionist at Princeton and he always made the mood a little brighter when he came in. I remember a story about him where he was doing hemorrhoidectomy on his ophthalmologist friend. They played jokes on each other a lot. The ophthalmologist friend staged with the OR to place a glass eye in his rectum so that when Dr. Coyle removed the drape, he would see it staring at him. I heard Dr. Coyle laughed til he cried. He was a nice man.

So sorry to hear of Dan's passing. He was a very nice and funny guy. I know he will truly be missed, but he also will be remembered for his great contribution to his profession.

Sorry for this loss of a very funny man. He did so much for so many people, always with a sense of putting someone at ease through humor. Lots of memories as a kid......John Miles Benton III

So sorry to see that Dr. Coyle has passed away. Between him and Dr. Merck, they saved my life back in the 80s and my family and I are most grateful. I always enjoyed my doctor visits with him, Dr. Coyle made a not so nice experience into laughter and I truly appreciated that. I've always remembered him by his red and beige shoes, as that's how I knew him before I ever saw his face.. Rest in peace good doctor, you will forever be missed.

He was my husband's doctor for many years until he retired and we had to find a new doctor. He was such a fun person to be around and a very good doctor. Special prayers for his family.

I worked with Dr Coyle at BMC-P over 25 years ago. He was the best!! He had a talent to give great medical/surgical care and use his comical personality to calm patients before and after surgery. RIP Dr Coyle:)..Bev Burks, RN

I was saddened to learn of the passing of Dr Coyle. I had the opportunity to meet him when I took my mother in for a consultation. My mom and I were worried and he assured us that she would be fine. He was the best doctor with the best beside manners that I had ever experienced. It didn't matter if you were black, green or white. He treated you the same, professionally. I thank him for the services he rendered to the patient and taking the time to explain making sure the elderly patient has...

Rest In Peace Dr. Dan.
