"Old man", I will miss you and all your jokes. I'll never forget the daily visits at hannaford where you'd ask me about what was going on in my life and then would follow up the next day, every day. Out of the thousands of customers I've had in my many years of retail you are the one everyone knows as "my favorite". Thank you for making my day so often. To your family, I recently lost my dad and I can only give my sincerest condolences. Please know that your dad made a difference in my life.

Sorry for your loss; reading about your dad he sounded like one amazing man. My thoughts and prayers to you Paul and your family during this tough time.

Sad to learn of Dapper Dan's passing. Sincere condolences to his family. This brings back many fond memories: in the '40s, we lived just a few houses apart. (Maureen and I were classmates). In the mid-50s, we ran into each other frequently at Grenier.
He was a fine man, a good neighbor, and a trusted friend. May he rest in eternal peace, Amen.

Sorry for your loss Paul and Dan. Your Dad was a great guy! I can remember his daily walk to the store, smoking a big cigar, to get his newspaper. Your Dad wrote many letters of support when I went into the Air Force and shared stories of his service.

Dan was a true gentleman and family man with a wry sense of humor. I will miss our chats. Godspeed Dapper Dan! Our condolences to his loving family.
