In a few days it will be eight years since you left your family and friends. Even though I am sad, I think of our friendship and smile. We had many shared good times in our youth. I'm sorry that we didn't get more time to visit and talk of old times. Rest in peace my friend. You will never be forgotten.

I often think about you my friend. The good times at East Jefferson High in ROTC and at college with Theta Xi. You left me with many great memories in my younger days. God bless you and RIP dear friend.

I can not find the words of how I feel finding out just yesterday that Dan passed away. I am truly heartbroken. Dan and I were good friends in our high school and college years but after I moved out of state,we lost contact with each other. My sincere sympathy goes to his family and especially Mrs. Josie. God bless you Dan. I will never forget you.

Dear Allison and family, very saddened to hear of Dan's passing. Dan had a zest for life that touched us all. I'll always remember that smile and all the good times we had with our families at the carnival parades. I know he will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Patty, Mrs. Josey and family our love and prayers are with you all. As Jeanne and Ronnie posted earlier so many memories playing in the lot, racing down the street, birthday parties, jail break and so many memories all with a beautiful sweet smile. You are such a part of our childhood and still a part of us today. Thank you for bringing so much joy to so many
