Not sure what to say?

Marge and Family, know that you have our deepest sympathy on your loss. Dan was a good friend to Richard. He mentored him in the American Legion and there was no better role model. Always being in agreement was not necessary - dedication to God and country was!

Marge - remember to eat your green vegetables and take time to take care of yourself.

I am proud to have known Daniel Commins. Thank you Dan for your service to our country during the Korean war. It has been an honor to know this interesting and wise man. Great example of a Father and Husband for 56 years. A true supporter of the American Legion. Heaven now has one of the best from our community. My thoughts and prayers are now with Margaret and his family. Dan, it was a true blessing knowing and sharing time and stories with you. You will be missed. RIP in the hands of Jesus,...

I too know Dan from attending the meetings at Post 572. Always a man that asked "How can I help you?" He gave so much to the Post and when I saw the plates on his car reading POST 572 I knew how much he loved the American Legion and his Country. God Bless you and your family Dan.

Dan was the first person I met at Post 572. He signed me up that day. He always greated me with a welcome and hand shake. He will be a great loss to his family and the American Legion. He had done so much for the veterans of this area. He was my friend and I will miss him. My deepest sympathy to Marge and the Cummins Family. Theodore Thanczuk, US Army Retired

What a great loss that will be felt by so many. It was truely a great pleasure and honor to have known Dan, and to be considered a friend and comrade. Our deepest sympathies to Marge and the entire Cummins Family.

It isn't often you find a person who rather than complain about how things are being done by others instead jumps right in and works to make sure the job is being done right. I've been honored to know TWO such people in Dan and Marge Cummins. What a wonderful example to those of us in the next generation.
Marge (and Dan, of course!), thank you for being wonderful examples of community service and marital strength. I'm sure neither was always smooth, easy, or perfectly done, but you never...

Marge and Family,
On Behalf of my Officers and all the Voyageurs of Cuyahoga County Voiture Locale # 11, of La Societe Des Quante Hommes et Huit Chevaux (40 et 8), our Deepest Sympathy to all of you.
Dan's service to The American Legion is one that all Legionnaires and Voyageurs should look upon and follow in his footsteps, with the same dedication as he gave.
I'm sorry that I will miss his services, and not being able to say farewell my loyal and faithful comrade,...

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Please accept my sympathies at the loss of Mr Cummins.

Carl:
I'm sorry about the loss of your dad. If you need anything please don't hesitate to call.
