So sorry to hear of Daniel’s passing. This will be a loss to the community. My sympathy to Mary and family.

A true inspiration at a critical time when inspiring was greatly needed.

The first paying job I ever had was at Scott High School, and Dan Dawson was my boss. At that time I thought he was mean and unfair, but what I learned from him was a solid work ethic, discipline, and respect, that still sérves me today.. I wish the world had more Dan Dawson's, may he rest in peace because he has surely earned it.

My condolences to the family of Dan Dawson. I worked with Dan at Scott high school when he was the Athletic Director and I was a varsity football coach. My sincere condolences to the Dawson family. I was a student at Scott High School during Mr. Dawson's tenure and remember his as being a firm but fair educator. His presence on campus kept you on your toes in and outside of the classroom. I'm sure many students and athletes are leading active and productive lives because of his influence. Those were truly the best days of my up bring. Family, May the comfort of the Holy Spirit be with each of you now and in the days to come as you cherish...

My condolences to the Dawson family. Keeping you guys in prayer. He will truly be missed.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
