On my way home yesterday,I received the news, Dan. The rest of the way, silence. No radio or music. Just my inability to adapt to language how much you mean to me. The three of us sat out on my deck - me, my memories of you and a bottle. The River Dan crested its banks and carried me away in a flood of joy and sorrow, laughing and crying like a madman. Danny, Danny, Danny...you will be missed my friend. To the entire Deimeke family, my sincerest condolences and heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Word reached me of his passing yesterday. Many of us met years ago and I have great lasting happy memories of time spent together with Danny during our McCoy Boys college days in Springfield, MO. To the daughters, although we have never met, you have an extended family here in AZ if ever needed...

I knew Dan for 20 years+. In his prime, he had a zest for life, a big grin and a crushing handshake. That's how I will remember Dan.

Danny, you will be missed more than you will ever know. You took me in as one of your daughters, but nothing could ever top the way you loved Sam and Sarah. Thank you for all of the wonderful memories, life lessons, boat rides and beers. I am grateful to have spent so much time with you and your smile.

So very sorry to here about your loss. I got to know Danny thru and Matt and Neil. He was a great guy and I will miss him. I saw him last summer at the Hawthorne Inn. Just a good guy and fun to be around. Jim Randall
