I am so sorry to learn of your Dad's death. He and I had a great time designing his home addition! He gifted me with a jar of his great honey when we were done. He was a character, and I am so glad I got to meet him!

I feel very lucky that I was able to get to know Danny over the past few years. He was such a positive person and had such beautiful lighted energy!!! He was someone that I truly enjoyed having a conversation with and learned something from him every time we spoke. I know how much he treasured his fishing trips with his grand daughter. Danny will be missed by so many but I have no doubt his like is shining down!

Dear, dear Dan. I have never forgotten him. I was doing my Student teaching in 1971(I think) at Sherwood Elementary. He stood out as one who loved life even back then! He was curious, fun-loving and a willing student. Definitely, unforgettable.
Years later, who should I run into at a waterbed store in Gaslight Village?? DAN! Ha! He sold me a bed vibrator. I thought of him many times since then.
I am so happy is life was so full although certainly not long enough.

I have been saddened to hear the news of Danny's death. Being a former neighbor I was always interested when I was able to catch up on the family and his life with him at Forest Hills Foods from time to time. Please know your family has my deepest condolences.

I am sad to learn of Danny's death, but I know there is a special place for him in heaven - with a veggie stand. He called my dad, Bud Hall, his best friend. He credited my dad for helping him through some tough times. It was an amazing friendship. Danny was a good soul. He will be missed. I send my sympathies to your family

Dan used to come in the store(Forest Hills Foods) every morning and get a donut, and talk to us girls in the bakery and he gave us a jar of honey every now and then super nice guy☺Prayers to the family at this difficult time

I did not know Dan, but he sounds like a wonderful man, and one who I would like to have known, from reading his obituary. Many condolences to his family, for the loss of such an outstanding person!

Dan was part of a Sunday School class and youth group where my husband and I were leaders. He also was a friend of our son and was at our home many many times, One year we had a live nativity scene on our church lawn and he brought 2 goats and one sheep in a truck to add the the reality of the scene. He did have a great sense of humor but also a sensitive spiritual heart. thought it has been years since seeing Dan, I have "book" ful of anecdotes about him as a young boy and teen. Christian...
