Devine, Daniel Joseph Entered into Eternal Life on June 1, 2014, at the age of 57. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Gebhardt) for 25 years. Loving dad of Connor, Maddy and Maeve and his dog Max. The son of Isabel and the late Jack Devine, as well as brother to Peggy (Jerry) Huber, Tom (Leah) Devine and Tim Devine. Dan is also survived by his father-in-law Arthur Gebhardt and the late Patty Gebhardt, brothers and sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and incredible friends. Dan was a graduate of the 1974 class of Whitnall High School. He was a long time member of the AA community with 30 years of sobriety. Dan was the proud owner of Devine Healthy Vending. Dan loved to fish, golf, and enjoyed a stogie and a Starbucks coffee. He was the ultimate sports fan. He loved coaching and playing sports of all kind throughout his lifetime and was a passionate Green Bay Packers fan. Dan greatly enjoyed spending time in two of his favorite places, Lake Minocqua and Naples Florida. Dan was a man of deep faith. Most of all he loved his St. Robert's community and served as an usher, a member of the choir and an all around volunteer. It was through his spirituality that he found sobriety and through his family that he found love. Foremost Dan sustained both his spirituality and love until the moment he left us. The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation for the kindness, love and excellent care given to Dan by the Froedtert Oncology and BMT units, especially Dr. Marcelo Pasquini as well as Horizon Hospice. Visitation will take place at Feerick Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 4, from 4:00 PM until 7:30 PM, with Vigil Prayers at 7:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Robert Catholic Church in Shorewood on Thursday, June 5, at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private. In loving memory of Dan, the family requests contributions to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 200 S. Executive Dr., Ste 203, Brookfield WI 53005 or The Milwaukee Alano Club, 1521 N. Prospect Ave., Milwaukee WI 53202.

Not sure what to say?

Dear Mary, Maddy, Conner, and Maeve- from your former neighbors Ros, Phil, Hannah, Maya, and Ruby. We are so sad to learn the news of Dan's passing. His wonderful presence in our neighborhood was also a bright light for all of us. We are sending our thoughts to you during this sad time.

Dear Devine family,
I am thinking of you all and sending love. May Danny rest in peace. Jane

May you rest in peace with no pain! I will love you and miss you forever!

To the entire Devine family, Dan was and will always be a close friend, I will truly miss you Danny, I am greatfull to have known you, May you now Rest In Peace.

Dear Devine Family:
My heartfelt sympathy for the passing of Dan. I was a '75 WHS grad so I knew Dan more in those wilder days that we sometimes like to forget. Dan was always a kind man with a smile at the ready. I had only seen Dan a few times though out the past couple of decades, he always appeared to be genuinely happy. A loving Family and peace with yourself will do that. Dan has journeyed to meet the true Devine one, take comfort knowing that one day you will all get to see his...

My sincere condolences to Mary, Connor, Maddy and Maeve. Dan was such a great guy and will be missed. I just know he is already coaching Heaven's baseball team, with that cigar in his mouth. Love ya and will miss you buddy.

Glory with God, Dan! Blessings and prayers for your family and all who mourn for you.
Fr. Bill Johnson, SJ
