Valley Memorial Park & Funeral Home Obituary

Daniel's funeral service was held at the Sutter cemetery on Friday, January 6th 2012 at 2 pm. It was a beautiful day in which Dan would have been pleased to see so many family members and friends. NOSC Sacramento rendered military Navy honors for Daniel. Following the service family members and friends shared their memories. My father would of be pleased and I know he was looking down smiling. Miss you dad... ~~~~~~ Daniel's memorial service was held at Life Church on Friday, December 30th 2011 at 1 pm. Tears, smiles and memories were shared for Daniel. Life Church is located at: 5585 SW 209th Ave, Aloha, OR 97007 Church website: www.lifeonweb.org/ ~~~~~~ If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane...I'd walk right up to Heaven and bring you home again. ~Author Unknown Daniel Dewey was born on August 3, 1947 and passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2011. He was a resident of Beaverton, Oregon and was born in Stockton, California. He is survived by his: - wife Toni Dewey, married for 42 years - daughter Michelle Griffin, husband Tim Griffin - son Paul Dewey, wife Claire Dewey - and three grandchildren (Deven, Nathaniel and Olivia) He will always be in our hearts and forever in our memories...we love you dad. You left our lives so suddenly, without a chanceto say hi, or even a proper goodbye. You filled our lives with laughter, and left our lives with the tears in our eyes. Always there when we needed you the most, now you are no longer here, how can we ever forget the day you left us with feelings of regret. With time we will refill our empty hearts, of all the cherished memories, of all the created moments, may they be happy or sad. These things will help us to heal and to never forget, our stubborn but adored man. Goodbye friend, husband, dad and grandpa, Until we meet again may your journey, lead you to a familiar comfort that will keep you. See you in the next life, we will be missing you till then. ~ Claire Dewey
