Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to just hear of Dan's passing. He was one of my favorite people and built the California Animal Hospital with my father. Condolences to Gail and the whole Didden family.

Group of 10 Memorial Trees

Patty Burns planted trees in Dan´s memory. He was a true friend and someone we loved dearly.

I haven´t seen Dan and Gail since we were at Davis together in the 1960s, but we exchanged Christmas cards for 60 years. I have very fond memories of our friendship and we always planned to get together. Never happened. I was so sad when I heard from Gail that Dan had passed. My sympathy and condolences to the whole family.

Ann and I are very grateful Dan was our friend. He was a compassionate man. When it became clear that our beloved chocolate lab Cindabear would not recover, we were fortunate that it was Dan who broke the news. He also cared for Belinda, a guide dog in training until Dan sent her our way for adoption. When Bob began bird hunting, Dan willingly shared his time and vast experience. And, after being invited to join their team, we both enjoyed years of bocce with Dan and Gail. We will miss...

We adored Danny and valued him in our lives greatly. He was a truly special guy! It gives us pleasure to donate in his memory. Joanie & Jerry

A donation has been made to the Lange Foundation in memory of Dan Didden, DMV, for the excellent and loving care he gave to all our four legged family members through the years. It is through Dan that we first learned of Lange Foundation.

I worked with Dr. D and learned everything I know from him. I am pretty sure that I drove him crazy much of the time. He was the most phenomenal veterinarian I have ever worked with. They broke the mold after him. My heart goes out to his family. He is missed.

I organize veterinary continuing education lectures for the SCVMA group that meets in Culver City. I had the good fortune to know Dr. Didden for many years. He was always a kind and thoughtful person, friendly to whoever he'd meet. Additionally, I work at an animal hospital in Woodland Hills, California where one of Dr. Didden's former technicians is employed. This tech has told me stories of Dr. Didden being a great teacher and wonderful mentor. I send love to Dr. Didden's family and all...
