During my childhood years we would drive back to Ontonagon from Olympia every other summer to see family. I think I became a little more popular in high school when the boys found out my cousin was Dan Dobbek. My love and sympathy to you, Joan, and your family.

We visited Ontonagon every other summer from Olympia when I was younger as my parents were born and raised there. In high school I may have been just a little more popular because the boys found out Dan Dobbek was my cousin. My love and sympathy to you, Joan, and to all of your family. I know he will be missed.

To Joan and the boys, we are so sad to hear of Dan´s passing. I can remember at age eight with my Dad, watching him on TV when he was playing for Washington Senators. What a thrill. I had (and wore) a pair of his baseball cleats.

It was great knowing you, Dan. We had a lot of laughs together while having a couple of beers.

My condolences Helen, and family, I was a teammate of Danny's on most of the softball teams that he played for, also we were on some of the same shuffleboard teams, and we also played against each other too. I will always remember Danny as a wonderful friend, and teammate.

My brothers and I fondly remember Mr. Dobbek from our time as his neighbors. Great man and family. RIP Mr. Dobbeck.
