Dan was a dear friend. He was a welcome guest at our holiday dinners and became part of our family. I was always amazed by his wealth of knowledge and his kind and gentle manner. He had quite a sense of humor too and would quietly watch the interactions of our crazy family with a smile on his face. We loved Dan and will miss him very much. Our hearts are with Dan's family.
