Not sure what to say?

Nang called me last week. We talked about Dan and how we both miss him. She would love to come back to McLean to visit her friends, but she hasn't been able to leave Bangkok. She is an extraordinary lady.

I served with Dan in the Agency. There never was a more decent, honorable American. I am proud to have been his friend. We will not see his kind again.
I offer my sincere condolences to his family. Chuck Burgess

I worked with Dan off and on for a few years and always appreciated his friendly demeanor and thoughtful approach. He led with humility and humor. I'm sad that he passed before his time, but heartened that he accomplished so much during his time on Earth. My condolences to his family.

Nancy and I are very saddened at Danny's passing. As Danny's West Point classmate in adjoining companies and in some classes, I knew Danny to be humble, reserved, and a real team player. He only had good things to say about everyone he came in contact with.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Danny and his family.

Dan was an outstanding leader and colleague and an example of what we should aspire to be.

My sincere condolences to his entire family, friends and co-workers at the Agency. I had the pleasure to work with him on a few assignments with D.C. Arnold, Vang Pao and the Late Jerry Daniels. He was a true American Patriot and Dedicated to Protecting the USA.

Danny and I went through St. Michaels's grammar school together. He was always a leader and an inspiration to all. I cherish the fond memories I have of Danny, especially playing basketball in St. Mike's school yard. My condolences to his entire
family.

There's not a finer patriot than Dan Donahue. His calm, professional, intelligent approach to dealing with serious situations was a model to all who worked with him.
The sacrifices he made, and the challenges he overcame, for the sake of our country, will likely never be shared publicly.
However, all those who knew and loved Dan should know that he was the ultimate warrior--of the mind, body, and spirit--in the service of our country.
God bless your soul, Dan. And may God comfort...

Fifty years ago I drove you to West Point to begin a new chapter in your life. Yesterday, October 15th, I drove to West Point for the final chapter. During those fifty years you helped make this country and world a betterl place. Those people, who you encountered on your journey through life, know how you made a difference for the better in their lives.
Rest in peace, Danny.
