Dan and I met at Bishop Boyle High School and from there we quickly became friends. His ways were always straight to the point and he was a comedic in his own way. Then Dan went into the Marines. When he would come home on leave, we would always hang out together at this "dive" bar next to the "eat-n-Park" that was on Penn Avenue. And of course as we got older we had lost touch. I won't be able to visit you at the Funeral Home on Sun. or Mon., but I want you to know how much it saddens me to hear of the death of Mr. Donovan.
I can't imagine the deep loss you must be feeling. The wonderful family that you are is a credit to his life. All of you will remain in my prayers. May your faith bring you comfort.
