Daniel Matthew Dowling

Dan was my friend from childhood. We grew up in Lewisdale, MD, Dan´s family lived 2 homes from ours. Have many memories of our childhood together. Only knew Norma briefly as we grew up, got married and started our families and lives. Many great times to remember. My sincere condolences to Dan and Normas children and grandchildren. Dear family...I don't know why Dan crossed my mind today but I am so sorry to hear of his recent passing. I met Dan back in 1978 when I applied for a body shop porter job at Silver Spring VW. I was a student at Howard University and had to take some time off to get my finances together. I was hired by Ross Glacken, who was the body shop manager. About a year later, the entire body shop moved to Fred Frederick Chrysler-Plymouth in Laurel. Dan was such a great guy, always laughing and enjoying...

I really miss my FB friend. Remember that your Dad was loved by so many. As you go thru the next few weeks you will share lots of laughter with your memories but remember that tears are also part of the healing process. My prayers go out to Sonny and Kimber at this time.

I'll really miss my FB buddy. Shout out to Northwestern High School class of 1966. I'm sure you will have many fun memories of your Dad and they will make you laugh but the tears you shed will also help in your healing process. God Bless Sonny and Kimber and help them to begin the grief and then the healing. Your Dad was loved by so many.
